Who we are

About us

Global Hope Mobilization (GLOHOMO) is a legally registered non-profit organization, working to improve quality of life for vulnerable populations through implementation of livelihoods, education, and health and governance programs. GLOHOMO is promoting good health, livelihood, education and governance in its strategic plan 2022-2027
Where we work

District of operations

GLOHOMO works in the following districts: Lilongwe, Dedza, Kasungu, Mchinji, Mzimba, Karonga, Machinga, Mangochi, Phalombe, and Dowa. GLOHOMO also has satellite offices in Malawi, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, and the United Kingdom.
Focus areas

Our projects emanates from these thematic areas

Bursary programs for OVCs, advocacy on inclusive education and education governance.

Focusing on Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) and School Led Total Sanitation (SLTS) with interest on menstrual Hygiene management.

Community and school-based nutrition programs using different strategies and approaches such as SUN.

Sustainable agriculture, livestock production, Climate Sensitive Agriculture, Economic empowerment. 

Health, education, agriculture and decentralization governance using scorecards and community participatory tools with a special focus on promotion of transparent, accountable, responsive and inclusive governance.

Women and Youth Empowerment, child protection, HIV and AIDS mainstreaming, protection of People with Disabilities, the elderly and People with Albinism.

Timely response to natural and all related shocks through relief interventions and preparedness activities.

Through working in collaboration with Ministries, Security agencies and public sectors to achieve protection, prevention and prosecution.

Social inclusion

GLOHOMO beliefs in creating a level field of operation where all including the marginalized groups portray their abilities and potentials. Young people, women, children, and the elderly and key to push an agenda of development therefore, they need to play a vital role in decision making and all undertakings

Neutrality

GLOHOMO does not take sides of culture, Religion and Politics. Our interventions do not exclude people due to religious, cultural and political factors. We are also neutral to favoritism and nepotism

Respect to human rights

GLOHOMO believes that all human beings regardless of skin color, race, sex, age, political affiliations, cultural values and physical of economic factors are endowed with dignity as such they must be respected and protected against any form of abuse, exploitation, and exclusion.

Do no Harm

GLOHOMO beliefs in doing no harm to the environment, all human beings, and children as well as people with various disabilities

GLOHOMO recognizes that our differences in culture, beliefs, education backgrounds, religion, and all other differences, are supposed to be celebrated and used for the best interest of sharing experiences and building a strong team
